Maiden Faire Dart Tournament
Ladies Tournament hosted by the MWDL
Our tournament was held on Saturday May 2, 2009.
Women (and men) came from Grand Rapids, Lansing, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and places in between. There were familiar faces and new ones, with everyone showing support in a fun atmosphere.
Some came dressed in support of the renaissance tournament theme and we were delighted to see such efforts. Along with the 100% payout, one of our very talented members made themed necklaces, bracelets and headbands as additional prizes. She has created different prizes every year and they are always a delight amongst participants. A heartfelt thanks goes out to Ruth for sharing her wonderful talent on our behalf.
We greatly appreciate Kevin G giving up a day of his weekend to run our tournament and put up with us. He has always been a tremendous support to our league. We don't want to forget the men that always attend to show support, play or chalk our matches. Everyone appears to have a great time and want to help in any way they can.
Special thanks goes out to the FOP 153 for allowing us to run our league and tournaments from their establishment and to Mona & Bud for their outstanding service with the food and beverages.
The MWDL thanks everyone for their support and participation.
